MY BIOGRAPHY
My name is Seher Gül.I am eighteen years old and from Isparta.Isparta is one of the most beautiful cities in Turkey.It is in the south of Turkey and near Antalya,which is one of the most well-known tourist centers.In addition to this,Isparta is famous for rose,one of the most preferred flowers all over Turkey and the world.
My family lives in this beautiful city.My father’s name is Sait and fortyeight years old.He has been a retired man for three years.My mother’s name is Niğmet and fortyfour years old.She is a housewife. I also have a brother.His name is Mustafa and fifteen years old.This year is his first year in high school and he wants to be an engineer .
I was in Isparta for elemantary school and high school.I began to go to school in the year 1996 when I was seven years old.My first school was Atatürk Elementary School.I was educated in that school for five years.Hilmi Dilmen Elementary School was my second school in the education of elementary school .I was in that school for another three years.So I graduated from elementary school in the year 2004 when I was fourteen.In that year, I had an exam to enter one of the best high schools.After the exam I had the right to enter a good school.My new school was Mürşide Ermumcu Anatolian Teachers Training High School.I decided to be an English Teacher in my first year in that school.Because my English teacher had a good effect upon me about being such an English teacher.Now I am in Metu and very happy.I am going to be a qualified English teacher.
Listening to music,reading historical books,watching various movies are my hobbies.I am interested in history. I am even thinking about studying history after graduating from this universiy.
I took this course in the first semester but we did only reading.As to this semester we will write essays,too.According to me, this is very beneficial for all of us.Because we will be English teachers and as prospective teachers,our writing should be very good.
The activities we will do in class and outside are good and effective exersises but I do not have Internet access at home.So I do not think I will join meetings that will take place in evenigs.
